This is a summer camp for kids! Ages 8 to 10 are welcome! The class format is as follows: 3 days of making, 1 day of glazing and then the final day is opening the kiln with family present. This class is so much for for kids. Its a real class full of making pots and playing with clay. I am very careful about the students who attend and make sure we are all on the same page. We focus on the potters wheel 1st and then move on to handbuilding. Students will walk away with at least 12 pieces they have made and are super proud of.

This is not a park your kid someplace for the afternoon camp, I am not a baby sitter. This class is for kids who are really interested in clay and have a desire to learn more. This is a real class with real expectations of the students involved.

July 17th, 18th and 19th from 10am to 2pm with a little break for lunch. Students will need to bring their own lunch. July 24th from 10am to 2pm is for glazing! July 28th at 6pm the kiln will be unloaded! This is a really exciting experience for everyone involved and I encourage parents to attend. Thats why it's in the evening. It's pretty special to be there when your son or daughter sees their finished pieces and how excited they are.
