Handmade in Asheville NC. These pottery mugs are all dishwasher and microwave safe and will be your favorite mug in no time!

Because these are individually handcrafted each one is unique and no two are exactly alike. These mugs have been decorated with the flower pattern. Each petal is a stamp, I stamp it 5 times, draw the stem on and then add the leaf. I also decorate the bottom of the piece and add my signature stamp (a small k) to finish the design.

Once the mugs are finished, I smooth out all the surfaces and take out any finger marks. Then I set them to dry before bisque firing. Once bisque fired I glaze them with a food safe glaze and load them into the kiln again. After the glaze firing I use a glass polishing sanding cloth to smooth out the bottom and edge of the handle. If I feel any slight imperfection, I smooth it out.
